$25,000 Matching Grant Doubles Your Impact

Back in March, Sophia had to finish out her school year with online learning at home because of COVID-19. And because of donors like you, Sophia got to enjoy dozens of virtual Artworks Anywhere lessons taught by Van Wezel teaching artists. Sophia learned important lessons about confidence, empathy, and problem solving through movement, visual arts and drama.

Throughout this challenging time, we are working with our partners at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall to develop new and innovative ways to deliver arts integrated education to students, families and educators throughout our community.

With your help, we can present a series of Virtual Schooltime Performances featuring hip hop duo, Black Violin, Bill Blagg’s The Science of Magic, and other innovative curriculum-based programs. Most experiences include a live Zoom talkback with actors and authors after the performance. This series will be available to every classroom in all schools across five counties as well as after-school programs and social service organizations serving PreK – grade 12 students.

With virtual programming, our reach is LIMITLESS – and so is your gift.

And today you can DOUBLE your impact, thanks to the generosity of the James and Maryann Armour Family Foundation. They will match your gift, dollar for dollar, up to $25,000.

Your gift will help us bring Virtual Schooltime Performances to more students than ever before.

You have the power to give thousands of kids like Sophia the magic of the arts – a gift that lasts a lifetime.
